Across the country, Legionnaires provide opportunities that build confidence, discipline, and civic responsibility through American Legion Baseball, the Oratorical Contest, Boys State and Boys Nation, Junior Shooting Sports, and a wide range of scholarships. These programs reach youth of every background and reflect the Legion鈥檚 enduring commitment to Americanism.

Youth Cadet Law Enforcement
American Legion departments and posts sponsor Youth Cadet Law Enforcement programs in cooperation with state and local law enforcement agencies, giving participants first-hand exposure to law enforcement operations.
