Coalition of veterans groups send letter to key congressional leaders, calling for them to pass the legislation.
91影视破解版 and 22 other veterans service organizations sent a coalition letter to the top leadership of the House and Senate Committees on Veterans鈥 Affairs on June 29, calling for Congress to pass the Take Care of America鈥檚 Veterans Act (TCAVA).
The letter was addressed to the Senate Committee on Veterans鈥 Affairs Chairman Jerry Moran, R-Kan.; and the committee鈥檚 ranking member, Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.; and the House Committee on Veterans鈥 Affairs Chairman Mike Bost, R-Ill.; and Ranking Member Mark Takano, D-Calif.
鈥淭his comprehensive package reflects years of bipartisan and bicameral work to improve care, benefits, and services for the veteran community,鈥 the letter says. 鈥淩epublicans and Democrats have authored elements of the bill, and we believe it represents one of the most thorough efforts to deliver non-partisan support and relief to both broad and narrow segments of the communities we serve. It brings together more than 60 provisions affecting veterans鈥 benefits, health care, education, transition assistance, caregiver support, survivor benefits, and other essential services. Taken together, these provisions would do extraordinarily good for millions of veterans, caregivers, families, and survivors today and for generations to come.鈥
